Why We Do What We Do - April at Glenuig Community Inn

If you've seen our April events calendar, you'll know it's a busy month at Glenuig Community Inn!

From bingo nights, Easter lunches and jazz jams to quiz nights, and traditional tunes to round it all off – it's full of fun, flavour, and good company.

But beyond the music, the food and the late nights at the bar, there's something deeper that drives what we do: a belief in the power of community spaces.

Every time we host a gig, open the kitchen, or welcome someone through the door, we're doing more than running a business – we're nurturing a place where people can gather, feel at home, and build lasting memories. A place where locals, visitors, artists, musicians and neighbours can come together and feel part of something.

That's why we're working so hard to bring the inn into community ownership. Because spaces like this don't thrive by accident – they thrive when people care, show up, and invest in their future.

We've got a few changes to our opening times this month – including closing for a few days (7th, 8th and 10th April) to gear up for the season – but from 11th April, we're open seven days a week, 12–11pm. We're ready to welcome you, feed you, laugh with you, and share in all that this little place on the west coast has to offer.

And if you believe in what we're doing – in what places like Glenuig Inn represent – we'd love your support.
