Inn-Spired by Community, Rooted in Tradition

As we well and truly settle into Autumn, there’s plenty to look forward to at Glenuig Inn this October. From toe-tapping tunes to quiz nights and a Halloween celebration, the month ahead is shaping up to be full of warmth, laughter, and community spirit.

Music and Sessions

Music is at the heart of life at the Inn, and this month’s sessions promise a brilliant mix of styles and stories.

  • Sunday 5th: Open Jazz Session (4–7pm) - unwind with smooth sounds and good company.

  • Saturday 11th: Alborada + Open Session (from 5pm) - we’re very excited to welcome Alborada, a group of Scottish and Galician musicians bringing a unique blend of cultures and sounds to Glenuig. Their performance will be followed by an open session.

  • Friday 17th: All-Style Jam Session (7:30pm) - from folk and blues to spoons and surprises, everyone’s welcome to join in.

  • Sunday 26th: Open Trad Session (3–6pm) - a Sunday afternoon staple that brings together musicians, locals and visitors alike.

Community Evenings

Join us for some light-hearted competition and community craic:

  • Wednesday 1st: Bingo Night (7:30pm) - grab a card, grab a pint, and see if luck’s on your side!

  • Wednesday 15th: Quiz Night (7:30pm) - test your knowledge with friends and neighbours in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Halloween Party - Friday 31st

We’ll round off the month in spooky style with our Halloween Party...a night of costumes, laughter and plenty of music.

A season for connection

As the days grow shorter and the air a little crisper, the Inn continues to be a place for warmth, welcome, and togetherness. Whether you’re joining us for music, a meal, or a quiet pint by candlelight, we can’t wait to see you this October.
